Promising Debuts

Wells travelled to sunny Bruton for their second game of the season. Sonny, Jaden and Shea were making their debut and all three put in solid performances in a resounding Colts victory.

Wells raced into a five-goal lead with goals from Caleb, Harry (2), Louis and an own goal. Jaden and Zak's composure at the back kept Wells in possession as they continued to dominate the first-half despite conceding two late goals.

Bruton started the second-half positively as Wells were momentarily pegged back, but a fabulous second-half display from Shea on the left wing saw Wells score five further goals. Louis netted twice to complete a second hat-trick in as many games, and Shea bagged a brace for his first goals for Wells.

A good performance was rounded off by Sonny's last-minute goal - his first for Wells.
