Outstanding Performance

An outstanding performance by the Warriors saw them run out comfortable winners against Bruton at Wookey Rec. A superb hat-trick from Isaac and a cool finish from Alfie gave the Warriors their second win from two games.

Wells started strongly and were camped in Bruton's half from the start, though it was a counter attack that saw the home side open the scoring; Freddie playing a superb ball through to Isaac, who slotted home into the bottom corner. Isaac scored a fine solo effort shortly after, tying several Bruton defenders in knots before firing home powerfully past the keeper. He sealed his hat-trick in fine style early in the second half, latching onto a loose clearance before rounding a defender and rifling home.

Alfie put the icing on the cake when he broke clear, calmly side-stepped a defender and stroked home into the bottom corner. The boys kept their cool despite a late Bruton consolation and can all be proud of themselves for a fine team performance.
