junior blues find form

Wells travelled to Somerton to play newly promoted Aller Park Rangers and it was the hosts who had a number of early chances but in form Sam Dowden made fine saves to keep them out. City had a couple of efforts but Aller themselves had a fine keeper who kept out efforts from Cain Phillips & Ellis Dening , the referee blew for half time and the score was level. Wells changed the formation and came out all guns blazing , a free kick saw Sam Harris curl a delightful ball giving the home stopper no chance to give the visitors the lead, more great play from Jack Bromham, Wes Saunders & Dening found Harris again and he scored a fine effort to make it 2. After some fine passing through the middle this time it was Harvey Burge who made a surging run and scored making it 3 - 0. Aller never gave up and continued to attack however the defence of Jack Madden, Charlie Harris, George Postings & Dan Steele kept them firmly at bay, Postings picked up a loose ball started to head towards the half way line , he just kept on going using his strength & finally found the penalty box where he squared the ball to Burge who claimed his second . Wells were in full control of the game and Harris got the 5th to complete his hat trick.
