Another 2 points dropped..........

On the balance of play, Wells City Reserves will feel they should have picked up all three points, and once again it was 2 points dropped not a point gained.
The derby certainly had its fair share of controversy.
Wells made a good start as Matt Haines in the Street goal did well to block an early Ryan Crowther effort and Tom Punchard reacted to deny Crowther from the follow-up.
Keiron White then went close with a stooping header from a Steve Emery cross but, in their first worthwhile attack, Street took the lead on 12 minutes when James Bisgrove turned Jordan Bazley with ease before firing a looping 25-yard effort over the outstretched arm of Mike Roper.
Wells responded well and Haines had to be at his best to deny Bazley before turning two dangerous corners to safety at the back post.
Street, despite having to defend for long periods, did test Mike Roper on the half-hour as a Bisgrove effort from a tight angle forced the keeper to push the ball away at the near post.
Wells were handed an equaliser after 35minutes when Punchard pulled White to ground and,Wells were awarded a penalty which Dan Catley duly despatched.
Street went ahead within 60 seconds of the restart as a back pass by Bazley was miskicked by Roper which allowed Bisgrove to side-step and then turn a defender before firing the ball past a helpless Roper.
Wells strived hard to get back into the game and Haines had to be at his best to deny both Catley and Emery. When he was beaten by a brilliant Arron Wickham shot from 25 yards, the post came to his rescue.
Wells’ pressure was relentless and brought them a deserved equaliser on 82 minutes, when Brendan Davies threw Bazley to the ground in the box and the referee pointed to the spot. Catley stepped up and again sent Haines the wrong way to score. Wells continued to push for the winner and only resolute defending by Street prevented Wells taking all 3 points.
