Scrap for all 3 points

Wells City 1-0 Warminster Town
It may not have been the best game to watch but Wells picked up all 3 points with a 1-0 win at home to Warminster,for most parts of the game Wells dominated but scoring goals proved to be more difficult than expected in a scrappy game, Wells started brightly and Jamie Howson had his first effort well saved by the visiting keeper and a minute later the visitors could easily have been reduced to ten men as Toby Cole was brought down by the last man but only saw a yellow card, Mark Randall's free kick was blocked and moments later his 30 yard effort was turned away by the keeper who then saved well from Howson, Ryan Crowther then sent a fine shot inches wide and Dan Williams hit a long range shot over the bar.
Wells continued to dominate after the break with Cole coming close when his shot hit the side netting from a tight angle, Wells then took the lead midway through the half as Howson latched on to a Tom Manning through ball and his low effort beat the outstretched arm of the keeper for 1-0 Wells, Howson came close again but his effort hit the post and Jason Loxton had his effort well saved by the keeper, the visitors came close near the end but Randall cleared off the line to give Wells all 3 points.
