After a slow nervous start to the game, going a goal down & loosing goalkeeper Cole Major to injury all in the first seven minutes, was not the plan for the trip to Bridgewater, but after some formation changes by the new management team, the response from the players was very positive with some quick forward interchanges from the defence to midfield it wasn't long before the pressure paid of with a pacey move down the right flank & James Russell found his left foot placing a well driven cross from Ross Long into the back of the net.
The second half Wells dominated in the same vien as they had in the first with some good football, two well timed runs gave Carlos Monteiro a brace of goals, a low driven shot into the left hand corner from Liam Barlow made it four & Owen Rickets got the winner with a run from central defence when he latched on to a through ball from Marco Hiscox.
A good start to go into the new season this coming weekend with all players working hard for each other & playing good football after the summer break, well done.
