Wells hit by player crisis!

Wells City were hit with a player crisis on Saturday. The away game to Merthyr Tydfil was always going to be a challenging encounter. However it was made even harder due to the number of 1st team players out for various reasons. Steve Murray was out due to personal reasons, Jamie Howsen was out with an ankle injury, Mark Randall was suspended, Ben Robertson and Matt Hurley(who is back from injury) were unavailable due to county commitments. In addition to this Wells will hope that Kyle McErlain and Josh White who both limped off in Saturdays game will be fit for Saturdays game but will most definitely miss training this week.
This therefore left the team down to the minimum and unfortunately this showed in the final score on Saturday. Conversely looking on the bright side, new signing Ben Dancey had a fantastic debut.

Wells City this Saturday are away to Corsham and will welcome back Ben Robertson, Matt Hurley and Steve Murray. Jamie Howsen will undergo a fitness test at training and Mark Randall will sit out the final game of his suspension.

Wells will look to bounce back and get back to winning ways and to keep pushing up that league table.
