On a glorious late summer evening Wells City welcomed Paulton Rovers to the Athletic Ground for this FA Youth Cup fixture. The visitors got off to a quick start scoring after only 2 minutes from a well taken free kick. Wells settled and started to pass the ball around well playing some neat football.
On 25 minutes the home side were awarded a penalty and marksman Nick Fowler stepped forward giving the visiting keeper no chance. Wells continued to play and on 32 minutes the predator 'Hot Shot' Fowler cut inside to score beating the keeper at his near post. After half-time Paulton battled well playing some nice football but couldn`t find that goal to level things.
The on 75 minutes Max Ambrosini broke forward, and with a fine finish, after sending the defender the wrong way made it 3 - 1
