Mark and John have been very happy with the way this seasons preparations have gone throughout their pre-season matches and training. The management team have worked around the clock to sign a number of high quality players from different clubs from around the local area to improve the Wells City first team.

The noticeable inclusion of Adam Thomas, Mike Grist, Lee Pitman, Leon Britton and Scott Saunders will help the current Wells City first teamer's to push for a much higher position in this years campaign.

The management team have worked tirelessly during the off season to secure of number of these signings, and the club has clear aspirations of a top 6 finish. Read and Allen are both aware the first few games will tell them a great deal about how their season could progress, but positive results against Rockleaze, Bristol Academy and Welton Rovers are an encouraging sign.
