Wells continued their fine form with a great point away at high flying Backwell, Wells started well Charlie Crook and Ross Padfield winning the midfield battle, Wells had the first chance when Crook headed goalwards from a Mark Randall corner, Dan Williams then headed over from a cross by Oli Bryant, Backwell then had a great chance but the strikers effort hit the bar, Jamie Howson then hit the side netting after great work from Randall, Alex Henderson then made a regulation save to keep the score level at the break 0-0.
Wells continued to press forward with George Carey's non stop running bring half chances but Wells were unable to break the home sides defence,Wells then made a change welcoming back Toby Cole whose pace forced the home side to reshuffle their defence, Tom Manning hit a great shot from 25 yards which went just over the bar, but a draw seemed a fair result with Sam Andrews the happier of the two managers.
