Wells city 3-0 Westbury
After playing well in the last 2 games and getting nothing out of them manager Sam Andrews again was forced to make changes through holidays', but was confident with his side to take all 3 points, Wells started well getting at the Westbury back line but were unable to open the scoring, George Carey and Jamie Howson working hard up front with Tom Manning and Ross McErlain playing great through balls for them to run after, Wells took the lead on 34 mins when a great ball from Manning was well struck home by Carey 1-0, Westbury thought they had levelled when a free kick was well saved by Alex Henderson but the ball dropped to an attacker who scored but was adjudged offside to the relief of the Wells side at the break.
Wells took control of the game frustrating Westbury with quick play and Wells almost extended the lead but for a great save by the visiting keeper from Manning, Wells did score again through a mistake from the away defence and Howson pounced and chipped the keeper from 25 yards on 70 mins, Westbury were getting more frustrated and it got worse when their defender was given a straight red for a two footed tackle on Manning, with more players away at the weekend Andrews decided to bring himself on for a run out and this brought a third goal with great one touch play from McErlain and Howson with the latter side footing home Wells third and his second, giving Wells a comfortable 3 points.
