Wells defeat Taunton Town in Somerser Prem Cup

Wells City shake up the cup holders Taunton

Taunton, winners of the Somerset Premier Cup for the past two seasons, are out of this season's competition.

They fell at the first hurdle last night when they lost to Toolstation League first division side Wells.

The only goal came in the 71st minute when Lee Pitman broke the deadlock with a header.

Taunton's top scorer Jordan Rogers went closest to scoring in the first half, hitting a post after only three minutes.
