Wells City 3-0 Wellington
Wells continued their fine form with a great home win and a clean sheet beating Wellington 3-0, Wells had the best of starts when Tom Manning set up Darren Maynard to smash home in the 4th min, Wells were undone at the back on a few occasions by a very good Wellington forward line but they found Mike Roper in great form and with the help of the post he kept Wells in the game, Jamie Howson then hit a great shot which was blocked on the line after good work from Manning, Wells then double their lead right on the half time whistle when a short corner from Manning to Howson who beat his marker and hit a low hard cross which was tapped in at the near post by Ross Padfield for 2-0.
The home side continued to play the ball around after the break but a mistake let in the visitors striker in he went around Roper for an easy tap in but to everyone's surprise hit the crossbar, this let off was a kick up the backside for Wells who upped their game and only a fantastic save by the visiting keeper kept out a curling shot by Manning, but he could do nothing about Manning's next effort which went into the top corner after great running from Charlie Crook with only 5 mins left for a great win 3-0.
