Westbury 2-2 Wells City
Wells after playing some decent football in recent games couldn't get going in the first half against Westbury and found themselves 2-0 down in half an hour, the home side looked in control playing the long ball game, and a defensive mistake lead to the opening goal when an Alex Henderson clearance hit Ben Robertson and fell at the feet of the forward who had an empty net to pass the ball in to for 1-0, they then made it 2-0 another through ball beat the Wells defender and was hit home by the striker, this seemed to wake Wells as they started to play the ball around better with Dan Williams and Mark Randall seeing more of the ball on the flanks and from a Randall corner Ross Padfield rose the highest to head home on 35 mins 2-1, Wells had many half chances to level the score before halftime but poor finishing left the score 2-1 Westbury at the break.
The second have was a different game as Wells battered the Westbury goal but were unable to find the equalizer but Jake Brown got the ball went on a great run and wad brought down in the box for a penalty which Williams slotted home 2-2 on 70 mins, Wells thought they had got all 3 points when Jamie Howson controlled well turned and hit a great shot but the home keeper made a great save to earn his side a 2-2 draw.
Man of the match Dan Williams
