Poor performance at Calne

Wells were hoping to get back to winning ways on Saturday against Calne, but a very poor display all round the pitch gifted the home side the 3 points, Calne started brighter with Alex Henderson making a handful of saves, their was glimpses of past performances from Wells but the home defence didn't look in trouble and held strong, Wells then made a change with Ryan pledger replacing James Russell and within a minute Pledger was brought down in the box Dan Williams stepped up and scored from the spot to give Wells a 1-0 lead right on half time.
Calne continued to attack after the break, a substitution by the home manager changed the game with Calne scoring 2 quick goals with breaks down the left being side Footed past Henderson for 2-1, Wells could not get going after the 2 goals when they did get forward the finishing was poor, Dan Catley had a great chance to level but his effort went wide to finish a poor showing from Wells.
